High School: Played four years at Notre Dame High School for head coaches Jeff Graviett and Ray Reinagel... three-time first team all-district and all-region honoree... two-time all-Southeast Missouri All-Conference... as a senior, batted .412, recording 40 hits, 30 runs, 27 RBIs, 24 stolen bases and six doubles... missed junior year due to ACL surgery... earned second team Missouri Class 3 all-state honors as a sophomore... batted .521 with 49 hits and 13 stolen bases... batted .400 as a freshman with 34 hits and 24 stolen bases... helped team to four conference and district championships... also played basketball for the Bulldogs as a point guard.
