Muesenfechter Named to NSCAA Third Team All-Region

ST. LOUIS, MO. – Senior defender Krisie Muesenfechter of the University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s soccer team has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas NCAA Division II All-Midwest Region Third Team, as announced by the association.

Muesenfechter started all 18 games this season for the Tritons and was a steady defender, helping UMSL to four shutouts and allowing opponents just 17 goals on the season. She also had one assist on the year.

Muesenfechter also earned second team all-Great Lakes Valley Conference playing honors.

UMSL finished the 2008 campaign with a 6-11-1 record, including a 5-6-1 mark in the GLVC and qualified for its 11th straight GLVC Tournament.
