 April 11, 2008ST. LOUIS, MO. – Continuing with its philosophy of giving back, student-athletes from the University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s soccer team are participating in a national program known as America SCORES. It’s a curriculum that brings an after school program to urban public schools across the country using soccer and literacy.
The program uses teamwork learned on the soccer field as support for teaching the students poetry in the classroom.

February 15, 2008The University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s soccer team will hold its 5th Annual Trivia Night on Friday, March 7 at the JFK Community Center (at Koch Park), 315 Howdershell in Florissant.
Cost is $120 a table for up to eight players. Tables are held by payment only with checks being made payable to UMSL Women’s soccer. You must be 21 years of age to attend.

LOUIS, MO. – Senior midfielder Tara Reitz (St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell North) of the University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s soccer team has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas NCAA Division II All-Great Lakes Region Second Team, as announced by the association.
