LOUIS, MO. – Senior guard Kristi White of the University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s basketball team has been named to the 2010 ESPN The Magazine College Division Academic All-District VII Second Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
White, an accounting major with a 3.95 grade point average, is averaging 11.0 points, 3.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game this season for the Tritons. She is also shooting 43.5 percent from the field and has a team-best 32 made three-pointers.
White ranks as the program’s all-time career leader in three-point field goal percentage (.417) and is sixth in career assists (278) and eighth in career three-pointers made (125).
UMSL is 10-11 on the season, including 6-6 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and begins a four-game roadtrip tonight at Southern Indiana.
To be eligible for nomination to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better. Go Back
