Women's Golf Finishes in 7th Place at GLVC Championships

SCORING

MARION, ILL. – After finishing day one in second place, the University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s golf team dropped five spots to finish in seventh place overall at the 2008 Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships at Kokopelli Golf Club.

The Tritons shot a second round score of 362 to finish with a final score of 703 on the 72-par, 5,863-yard course.

Northern Kentucky won the team title, shooting a 328 in the second round for a 660 final.

Freshman Ashley Stout paced the Tritons individually with rounds of 79 and 91 for a 170 final to place 15th.

Senior Erin Konkol (80-96 176) tied for 23rd, while junior Sarah Cissell (93-87 180) and sophomore Leslie Fischer (89-91 180) tied for 31st. Senior Shannon Vallowe (93-93 186) tied for 39th.
