The University of Missouri-St. Louis Athletic Department is proud to announce that on Thursday, January 21 it will unveil the new mascot of Tritons athletics at the 2010 Pack the Stands event as the UMSL men's and women's basketball teams hosts St. Joseph's. The mascot is scheduled to make his first appearance in the Mark Twain Building at halftime of the men's game scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start. The women's game begins at 5:30 p.m.
Beginning January 19 on www.umsltritons.com and at the Millennium Student Center on the UMSL campus, fans will be able to view a sneak peek of the new mascot. As January 21 approaches, sections of the mascot will be revealed prior to the full reveal at Pack the Stands.
