ST. LOUIS, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's tennis team picked up its 13th victory of the season, while also winning its 10th straight match with a 9-0 win at Quincy Tuesday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
The Tritons (13-4, 8-0 GLVC) cruised through doubles play with Boris Simic and Ryan Burgdorder winning 8-2 at No. 1. Andi Dimke and Peter Hantack also picked up an 8-2 victory at No. 2, while Andre Chemas and Daniel Anthony were 8-4 winners at No. 3.
In singles action, Dimke was a 6-0, 6-3 winner at No. 1, while Simic edged his opponenet 7-5, 6-4 at No. 2. Hantack was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at No. 3 and Chemas had no problems at No. 4, winning 6-0, 6-0. At No. 5, Burgdorfer collected a 6-1, 6-1 victory, while Alex Cherman was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at No. 6.
