Men's Golf In Fifth Place After Day One at Drury

SPRINGFIELD, MO. – Paced by Tim Cochran’s first round score of 71, the University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s golf team sits in fifth place after day one of the Pasta House/Drury Invitational.

Cochran finished one stroke under par on the 7,066-yard Rivercut Golf Club and is in a tie for fifth place individually.

Missouri Western State leads the 12-team field with a 68.

Also for the Tritons, Ryan Penfield is tied for 18th (74), Matt Winslow and Ryan Gunn are tied for 29th (76) and J.R. Sircusa is in 67th place (86).

The invitational concludes tomorrow.
