UMSL Sports Hall Of Fame

Following are the UMSL Athletic Honor Roll Student-Athletes for the fall 2007 semester. There were a total of 69 student-athletes who earned athletic honor roll distinction, including at least one student-athlete from each of the 11 sports. In addition to the individual honors, the UMSL Women's Tennis team had the highest GPA among the 11 UMSL sports with a team GPA of 3.348

Biography:
Inducted: 2007
In 1987-88, UMSL finished with a 22-9 overall record, which still stands as the school record for most wins in a season. It was also the last UMSL team to qualify for the NCAA Tournament, winning the MIAA Tournament that season. UMSL Sports Hall of Famer and current head coach Chris Pilz was a freshman on that team, and 2007 inductee Rich Meckfessel was the head coach.
