Following are the UMSL Athletic Honor Roll Student-Athletes for the fall 2007 semester. There were a total of 69 student-athletes who earned athletic honor roll distinction, including at least one student-athlete from each of the 11 sports. In addition to the individual honors, the UMSL Women's Tennis team had the highest GPA among the 11 UMSL sports with a team GPA of 3.348

Biography: Inducted: 2003 Jim Niederkorn was the men’s golf coach for 18 years, from 1980-81 season through the 1997-98 season. He guided UMSL to back-to-back MIAA Conference championships in 1992 and 1993, leading UMSL to the NCAA Division II national tournament each of those years. Niederkorn coached UMSL’s first golf All-American, fellow inductee David Rhoads, and also coached two all-district players and six all-conference golfers. His 18 years as head coach is the second longest tenure of any head coach, in any sport for UMSL athletics, surpassed only by previous inductee Don Dallas. Return To Hall of Fame |
