UMSL Sports Hall Of Fame

Following are the UMSL Athletic Honor Roll Student-Athletes for the fall 2007 semester. There were a total of 69 student-athletes who earned athletic honor roll distinction, including at least one student-athlete from each of the 11 sports. In addition to the individual honors, the UMSL Women's Tennis team had the highest GPA among the 11 UMSL sports with a team GPA of 3.348

Biography:
Inducted: 2004
Kris Wilmesher was a four-year letterwinner in women’s basketball, playing from 1985 through 1989. She is the third all-time leading scorer in UMSL history with 1,506 points and is second in school history with 369 career assists, and fourth with 136 career steals. Wilmesher was twice selected as an honorable mention All-MIAA selection before being named a first team All-MIAA selection her senior year. She was a three-time All-American, being named a freshman All-American by the American Women’s Sports Federation. As a junior she was named a second team All-American by the National Women’s Sports Federation and was a fourth-team All-American her senior year. Wilmesher was also a member of the women’s softball team for three seasons, and was part of the 1989 team that won the MIAA Championship and advanced to the NCAA Regionals for the first time in the program’s history.
