UMSL Sports Hall Of Fame

Following are the UMSL Athletic Honor Roll Student-Athletes for the fall 2007 semester. There were a total of 69 student-athletes who earned athletic honor roll distinction, including at least one student-athlete from each of the 11 sports. In addition to the individual honors, the UMSL Women's Tennis team had the highest GPA among the 11 UMSL sports with a team GPA of 3.348

Biography:
Inducted: 2007
Tim Smith played two seasons at UMSL in 1972 and 1973, and was a member of the men’s soccer national championship team in 1973. He ranks 13th in the UMSL career scoring list with 46 career points on 18 goals and 10 assists. Tim led the national championship team in scoring in 1973 with 13 goals, which still ranks as the sixth best single season total in UMSL history. His 34 points that season ranks as the fifth best point total in a single season as well. Tim holds individual single game records for most goals with four in one game, and for most points in a game with ten.
