UMSL Sports Hall Of Fame

Following are the UMSL Athletic Honor Roll Student-Athletes for the fall 2007 semester. There were a total of 69 student-athletes who earned athletic honor roll distinction, including at least one student-athlete from each of the 11 sports. In addition to the individual honors, the UMSL Women's Tennis team had the highest GPA among the 11 UMSL sports with a team GPA of 3.348

Biography:
Inducted: 2001
Jan Gettemeyer-Sansone was instrumental in building the foundation for the women's soccer program as a member of the school's first varsity team in 1981. She was a three-time All-American selection in 1981, 1982 and 1983, and was a four-time All-Region selection. Gettemeyer currently ranks first in assists in a season (18), second in career assists (28), second in career shots (259), third in points in a season (50), fourth in career goals (44) and fifth in career points (116).
