UMSL Sports Hall Of Fame

Following are the UMSL Athletic Honor Roll Student-Athletes for the fall 2007 semester. There were a total of 69 student-athletes who earned athletic honor roll distinction, including at least one student-athlete from each of the 11 sports. In addition to the individual honors, the UMSL Women's Tennis team had the highest GPA among the 11 UMSL sports with a team GPA of 3.348

Biography:

Craig Frederking was a member of the men’s soccer team from 1989-1992 and is currently the Rivermen’s all-time leading scorer with 99 points. He holds the school record for most career goals with 39 and is second all-time in career assists with 21. In 1991, he recorded 15 goals, a number that stands as the second best single season mark in UMSL history, and his 10 assists in 1989 are the fourth highest total in UMSL history.

During his career, the UMSL soccer team had a combined record of 55-17-4 and in 1991 advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament. Frederking was a three-time all-region selection, earning those honors in 1990, 1991 and 1992. He was also named a two-time All-American player in both 1991 and 1992.
